Can't remember if I ever asked this before here. Anyone love themselves some Zappa? If so ZPZ is ALWAYS a good time. I've prolly seen them 5 or 6 times now and never anything but a great tribute to frank. Also, project object and grandmothers of invention were great. Alot of members that played with frank are still playing his music. Thank god!

That should be a blast!  Enjoy the show.
Zappa has the honor of getting me grounded in high school.  I was listening to Over-nite Sensation and my mom overheard the lyrics to Dinah-Moe Humm.  She stormed into my room grabbed the album off the player and broke it in two, which sucked because the record belonged to friend.  She then grounded me for 2 weeks!  Thank God she she wasnt around when I discovered George Carlins 7 Words You Cant Say on Radio or TV, I may still be grounded!

I saw ZPZ when it first started touring (the Tour de Frank) for my 50th birthday. Also saw Frank twice, once in 1975 and again in 1988. The earlier show wasn't especially good; Frank was playing his novelty songs and seemed to be phoning it in. The second show featured Frank the guitar virtuoso and was one of the best concerts I've ever seen.

As always, awesome show. They played the entire set from the Roxy and elsewhere. Then about 6 or 7 other tunes. A good 2.5 plus hrs of music. Delivered again. Closed with muffin man...
