Is anyone watching this?  Oddly enough this has turned out to be my favorite new show of the season, and it really wasn't on my radar at all originally.  Kind of a blend between a traditional lawyer type show mixed with Grey's Anatomy (think sexy interns and inter-competition) in a Revenge-like format with a murder plot overlay.  Viola Davis (The Help) is the lead, she's over-the-top but awesome all around.

Yes it's soapy, surprisingly sexy/sleazy and a bit cheesy in parts, but it's a hell of a lot of fun.  Where else could you get away with an awesome line like:

"Why is your penis on this dead girls' phone?"

The Flash is my favorite new show of the season, but this is a close second.  I've always liked courtroom dramas, especially ones with season-long arcs, so I was looking forward to this since they announced it.  I kind of wish they'd spread the trial-of-the-week bits out to more than one episode, as there's so much going on, those parts get short shrift.  The quick pace does make it a lot of fun to watch, though, and given that there will only be 15 episodes, they should be able to keep things interesting through the end.

Oh no they didn't!!!

Great fall finale filled with one twist after another, with all sorts of nasty one-liners thrown and gratuitous sex scenes in between.  This is the show I look forward to the most each week, and that's saying a lot because this fall season has overall been really good.

If you like trashy lawyer-based TV with great dialog, confusing flashbacks, all sorts of sex, and a crazy "whodunit" story arc, I believe they are going to re-run all the episodes again the next few weeks.

I thought the middle of the episode dragged a bit when they showed stuff we'd already seen, but the ending more than made up for that.  Any show can do cheap twists, but it's a thing of beauty when they deliver a well-thought out surprise that makes perfect sense.  The fight at the beginning was awesome too - can't wait to see what they do in the remaining six episodes.
