Starz is launching a "Crash" tv series.  Don Cheadle will produce the series.

I honestly think I'm the only person who really didn't like the movie, so I'm not planning on watching this.  However, I'd be interested to hear other opinions on it as it airs.  I may be wrong about it, who knows.

as for the movie, i just thought it stated "racism is bad" without any nuance or poetry.  it was all so blatant that i felt the movie was grossly overrated by critics.

Nope, I'm right there with ya.  I thought it was just 'ok'.  Didn't really break new ground or interest me much.

I actually love watching him work.  I just happen to know that he is the kiss of death for any TV series that he appears on.  Once I saw him appear on Jericho, I knew its days were numbered.  I've been a fan of his ever since Strange Luck, through C-16 and Harsh Realm.

so, anyone catch the first 2 episodes?  not too shabby, and it feels like it's one of those movies where everyone will be connected at some point.  The big drawback is there are too many characters for an episodic drama.

on the plus side it does have a couple of hot chicks in it.
