So, Sunday the 23rd. What time are we playing?

Seriously. I need to get in some UT.

I've had this folder slowly expanding to exhorbitant sizes on my hard-drive for the last month and I've only played it for like 4 hours, and 3 of that is playing Alien Swarm.

I need some form of justification for this monsterous folder sitting on my hard-drive.

We played a good 45 minutes or so Saturday evening at about 7 pm Pacific until the server poo-poo'ed out.  But Sunday?  Well . . . I guess you can see me at the "normalish" Pacific coast time of 6.

FYI, we'll be having a joint OO / CG server test tonight to try to push my new cable connection (4Mbit / 384Kbit) to its limit.  12-player UT!  Please check the first post in this thread and ensure that you have all the appropriate content before joining, especially the newly-added Domination Map Packs.

Be there, tonight, 9:00 PM EST, or be square!

So, despite my downloading everything linked to above and installing it, then running them all again after it told me I needed to download the map, I'm still somehow missing something.

Wonderful.  So, I can't get in yet another time because I don't have all the maps.

I've been over it twice. I've downloaded and installed everything that's been listed so far.

A pack of cDom maps. Now that I actually read the entire thread, I see you linked it a few posts up. Perhaps if I was like 80% less retarded and/or impatient I wouldn't have had to fumble around with the downloading stuff tonight smile

The one map it told me I had to download started with cDOM, so I just searched for that on BeyondUnreal and it brought up one map-pack.

Regardless, it was a good time and I hope you guys all play again sometime soon. I'll try to play then too smile

That'll do it.

Yeah, we're having a little bit of a server revival.  We have people on just about every night recently, and the weekends have been relatively full.  If anyone out there has a dormant copy of UT2K4, dust it off and come frag with us!

You can take a peek on the server page around 6-7 PST because we've usually been playing almost every night around that time.  We're trying to schedule one time this week where EVERYONE can meet up and we can have a good-sized match (fill the 12 players!  It could be possible!) but that's still up in the air atm.

Yep; we're on as Dep said around 6-8 PST most nights lately.  We're aiming tentatively for Friday night to try to fill the server, but any night this week it's sounding like you should find at least a few people on.  One thing I've found helps is to post on here and on OO a few hours before you plan to play.  You can usually ensure at least a few people that way.

Thanks for double-posting since I frequent this board much more often than the other one, and would have missed out otherwise.

Hell, I didn't even wake up till 10:00pm or so.

I got home from work at 5, showered and then crashed on the couch for hours.

Are you guys going to play tomorrow or wednesday?

I don't know about tomorrow as I might already be in for another game elsewhere, but wednesday I can definitely play.

The way things have been, we'll be playing every night.  Tomorrow might be a little light since several of us will be following the election, but we'll definitely be around.  Had 9 on tonight for awhile.

Another fun night indeed!

As for tomorrow (Tuesday) - not quite sure if I'll be playing.  I want to follow Election Night, so I'll more or less stick to the tube and study for an exam Thursday.  But every other night is fair game!

As I mentioned in the other thread, if there's anyone out there that wants to join us but is on a slower connection and can't easily download all the content, shoot me a PM and I'll burn it all to CD and snail mail it to you. Blackhawk has me inspired with his Morrowind DVD project...

that is correct!  because you're picking up the ECE at the store, you won't need to download the ECE Bonus Pack (you'll already have it), but you will need to get the rest of the maps.  it all adds up to a pretty hefty set of downloads, but it's well worth it in the end.  i think i speak for everyone when i say we always look forward to new blood on the server Cool

Awesome Xmann.  You'll have a blast.  I think it's safe to say that the # hours' enjoyment we've derived from UT for every dollar paid is pretty ridiculous.   I'm sure you'll love it, too.

Hah.

Yes, you can.  I used to do this, until I got used to using the mousewheel to rapidly dial in any weapon I want just as quickly as I could fumble around to a particular button.
