i don't think i've ever uninstalled any version of UT...only time i've not had it installed since i got the original was short bits of time right after a reformat.  personally, i don't even know why they include an uninstall with the games.

Woohoo! Glad to see that the thread has been restarted over here. Then again I have had almost no time to jump on. All I've managed to do is download and install the EC stuff and the last patch.

Egads CSL, you actually uninstalled it? My last reformat that I did about a month ago UT2K4 was immediately reinstalled along with WarCraft III (though it remains to be touched until another LAN). The game is at my fingertips whenever the stars align and I have free time to jump in and play with some actual people! Ahem...

It's a little mod that gives me more power.    No need to pull it, I believe, as it's tiny and will auto-download.

zaxxon...just a little thought about the server/stats...
is there a way to list all the mods/maps currently in use somewhere on the stats page?  that info might be worthy of a link somewhere that isn't dependent on a forum post...if it's not too much trouble...

Could you post a good link or source for the flag and map packs?  I've got the community packs, but I think I lost all the others when I was forced to reinstall this puppy.

Was fun last night for sure, although The Woman came home earlier then expected and I had to bail.  It was my first instant gib action and I liked it.  Some of those bots were mean though.  They esxpically dont seem to miss when they kneel down.

Yeah, if they start kneeling down, I get a little freaked out.  If they miss you that one time, though, they're a sitting duck for you to nail.

I've already downloaded like 2 gigabytes with of extra crap for UT2k4, and I still don't have whatever's on the server? I don't have the hard drive space for one game to keep sucking it up like this  :evil:

for the record...i started with the list that crumsteel just posted and made a few corrections.  for example, "Map Pack 1" and "Map Pack 2" refer to "Community Bonus Pack 2, Vol 1 & 2," and all of those 1on1 maps make up the "DM-1on1 Map Pack."  the map names on that list aren't exact either, so i tracked down the right ones and included the links.  the only one i didn't link was the ECE pack because it's a large file that's easy to find...use whatever link gives you the fastest download

what i'm trying to say is that everything in my list and crumsteel's are essentially the same...i just used some more accurate names in mine.  it's all the same stuff though

I'll be playing for SURE Wednesday at around 6 pm Pacific.  Would be dandy to have some of the old and the new crew play along if possible     We needs to make this server as alive as it was before summer!  That Conduit match last Saturday was fun stuff!
