Here's what I'm thinking for tomorrow night: Team Elimination with GTers on one team and public scrubs on the other.  Mop up time!  Or some other flavor of elimination

Goose will prolly pass too then.  He's not one for head to head play (even if we are stacking the team).   Co-op is his bag, and I still have 2 maps meself I'd like to play (though I'll play any mode)

DS/Goose- We're up for coop so let's boogie!

After some horrific struggles to get a game started last night, we finally settled into a co-op groove on the Locks map.

Calvin is a solo killing machine, racking up kills in record time.

Ike was grand on the light machine gun

Eddie X proved he can side with justice in the fight against rebels.

Dreamshadow showed us that appeasing teh woman was his top priority and bailed early.

I had the right side of the map nailed down.

After very little success and after eveyone else had abandoned us, Ike, Eddie and I settled into an awesome 3 man fire team and worked very efficiently to clear the map.

On one of our run throughs a bug prevented us from completing an objective though we had done a magnificent job clearing out baddies.

On the final walk through we again did some exquisite work. Eddie got taken out halfway through the mission.  I got sloppy trying to flank a target and was killed near the 2nd to last objective. This left Ike on the light MG in a nerve racking situation to get the intel and attempt to reach the extraction LZ.

He slowly slowly slowy worked his way to the intel. Got it and began making his way to the final objective: extraction.  He picked off baddies from halfway across the board.  Moving the drown slowly forward, clearing an area and repeating and barely surving bursts of fire from his flanks on several occaisons all as time wound down. 

Eddie and I were frantic: "Times ticking down! He must see the clock! Should we send him a message!?"

Ike arrives about 100 yards from the LZ.  His attention locked on a baddie behind a car.  His support helicopter blasts at another unseen enemy. We think maybe he was killed.  Not so.  Sadly, less than 20 yards from completing the mission Ike is cut down from an enemy on his right flank.

Eddie congratulates the effort.  I sigh sadly impressed by the effort put forth- SO CLOSE. Ike's rage fills the lobby with a huge expletive!  We call it a night just after 2 AM.  The rebels won this time..

One time I made it to the end but we had failed an objective. The 2nd time was as described above.

that's the one with the missile boat, right?  That map is a pain, especially since the distraction doesn't seem to work right.  Don't feel too bad Ike, it was probably the same guy that got me the last time I was that close to making the LZ.
