well, I'd definitely be down with this...if I owned Rallisport Challenge 2, that is!  I have so many other racing games that I haven't gotten my fill of yet, that I can't justify picking up another one.  Sorry, dude.  

If it makes you feel better, you could be me who picks these games up 5 months after everybody else and then tries to find someone to play with!

I'll be honest, I've rarely played online with this game so far.  I have a question...are all the cars unlocked or are you only allowed to race with what you currently have?  I'll probably join this depending on the answer...I don't want my ass to get handed to me too badly

What do you enter when it asks you for the round setting?

If I did it right, the rounds are set so that you can only use cars from the first four rally cars set and the first four cars of the Hill racing class for that stage - essentially the first four cars of the class.  Nothing else.

When you start the game you get two of those four.  So I don't think any player would be at a disadvantage if they hadn't played the game a lot -- I was really hoping to get folks to play - and what I like about this game is that because you can't tweak the cars, you really are even with every other driver on the track.

This should be great fun, and I hope you all join up.  It starts the 16th.

HOnestly, I have no idea.  I haven't had the game for very long myself, and this is my first tourney.

I just raced Round 1 (make sure you have the password and round settings to log into Driver's Rally) and I doubt that I did very well. It was my first time racing that track and I screwed up a few times. Can we race it more than once? If so I'll see if I can improve my time tomorrow, especially once some of you have posted times.

I was just looking at your race stats, Simon.  I don't know if you can redo a track - but you should try anyway.  I did two different times on my trek - so we'll see which opne posts.  It may be that the round is open until the deadline.  That would be awesome.  If not, the settings are listed for future tracks so you can practice them beforehand.

I really like how the stats diplsay the car used.  XSN is a lot cooler than I thought it might be for this.

I'm going to go post my time in a few mintues here.

I just bought this game because of this tournament.  I am not really that great at these games, but it got solid reviews and I enjoyed some of the other rally games a lot.

What is the deadline?  Is it too late to start?  I want to race a few times before I get on there and I will hopefully be able to do that on Sunday.

The stat page is nice, but I didn't find the details I was looking for.  It says "next deadline 7/17/04.  Maybe I missed it?

Hey Stiffler - the deadline has passed to join this one, but I'll be setting up a PUBLIC tourney after this set is finihsed.  I'll post info for it at CG too.  We had two no-shows for Round 1 (though Devil is out of town I read) so hopefully by making it public, we can get a lot more players signed up.

Another option, which I hope you guys would be into, is my setting up a TEAM RALLY - then three of us from CG could race together with overall team scores comiled against the competition.  There are a lot of teams on XSN it looks like, so if you're interested, post here - I'd hate to set it up and then have no CGers join in.

Crud, did I miss the deadline for round 1?  My computer's been out of commission since last Thursday, so I couldn't check the round dates.  I vaguely remembered the 19th as one.  Plus, I just started seeing this girl last Sunday, so that's been keeping me busy.  

I'll try and post some times either tonight or tomorrow.

Congrats to Mad Alien for winning the Rally!  Those were some great times he put in -- especially for single races.

I'm not letting defeat slow me down, however.  Here are two rallies that I've joined (one I started).  If any of you have the desire to post some times, join in.
