Xfire Username List

For anyone that doesn't know what this is, it's a gaming related version of AIM or any other IM client, only it informs people on your list what game you're playing, and if you're playing multiplayer it tells them (in most cases) what server you're on. Makes joining your friends in a game a snap.

Just add gonegold as a friend.  I'm not sure who controls it anymore, but I usually add any friend of gonegold when I see them online.

If you don't want to use gonegold, you could do your own consolegold or whatever.  Someone here can create the account.  It's a way to track everyone with xfire directly, rather than a thread.

Anyway, whatever you prefer.

I already have gonegold on my list, the only issue with that is that now the thread for it is gone, and there's no way to get new people into it other than starting a new thread.

That, and I never see some of the people on that gonegold list online, so I can't add them.

I was looking for a more current, and more actively available list of users to add directly to my friends list. That way you can see when they're "up for a game" and send them a message and maybe see what game they feel like playing. You can also directly join their games just by right clicking on their name and going to Join game in the menu, but again this only works if they're on your actual friends list, not friends of friends.

*Edit* I went looking, and it turns out Tals is one who chose to spend his time at the Brutesquad boards. He apparantly won't be updating the gonegold ring anymore, but has started a new one. It's called Brutesquad, of course. If you like the idea of his ring better than directly adding people's names from a list, by all means do so.

All I was attempting to do with this was create a direct list of everyone's usernames to look at on here, instead of just having a ring of people whom you only see online if they're playing a game.
