Hey guys, just wanted to put this out there in case anyone from this community, or another, would be interested in playing some XBLA board game titles during the weekend. Games like Catan, Carcassone, RISK, UNO, or games like Peggle.

My wife was browsing through my game list and asked me why I don't play those games anymore. The biggest reason was probably that a regular bunch of us GT folk used to play these casual games before we got to the heavy stuff like Read Dead, CoD, HAWX, an other shooters. One of those gamers from our group was DamageInc. After we heard of his passing, our group stopped playing those arcade titles because honestly it made us sad.

What better way to honor the man than to play a few casual games here and there, and having a good time?
Let me know, maybe we can start something in the future. And besides I never got to beat Hark at Risk yet  ninja

I've got Catan and Peggle, but I rarely turn on the system for gaming these days, so scheduling through the boards would work best.

I'd rather be watching hockey.

Life is absurdly busy these days, but at least mark me down as being very interested in trying to make it to something like this every now and then.

I guess the next step would be to find a day during the weekend that is the most open for all or most of us.  Friday night-Saturday-Sunday afternoon? I know most of us with families (well except me) are extremely busy but we should be able to work something out.

Friday night, I try to head to the bar after work, but I'm usually home by 8 Central. Saturday afternoons are probably decent. Sundays are hit and miss, as the gf is generally off every other one.

Sounds fun, used to love multiplayer Peggle.  Unfortunately I work Fri and Sat nights.

I'll be on Saturday, August 11, around 1pm-3pm EST.  Just send me a message or join my xbox live party to play some Peggle, Catan, or any other XBLA title.
