I saw these three dwarves a million times in Uldaman, but it wasnt until two days ago, after somebody pointed it out, that I noticed it was Olaf, Eric, and Baelog.

Bliz really pulls out all the stops in this game.  There are references to so much stuff, and at times things just make you laugh out loud.  I love it!

LOL, it's from one of Blizz's old games.

There's lots of cool references in WoW.  Blizz definitely has a sense of humor.

Here's a pretty fun thread that lists a ton of these references and easter eggs:

There was some quest near Auberdine (south of it), I dont recall the name (something with Glaive in it), but it has an altar with two books, and you need to take one of them.  If you go near the left-hand book, an arm reaches out and punches you, kind of like in "Armies of Darkness".

Now I did all of Auberdine's quests, and I don't remember that one. Too bad though. Would've loved a good laugh. biggrin

It's this quest- The Master's Glaive.  What was even funnier was that, upon seeing the altar, I thought to myself "this would be a good place for an Armies of Darkness joke".  Lo and behold.
