Blizzard Entertainment(R) today confirmed that World of Warcraft(R) has broken day-one sales records in North America, making it the most successful PC game launch ever. World of Warcraft, the company's subscription-based massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG), sold through to over 240,000 customers at retailers in North America on Tuesday, November 23, selling more in its first 24 hours than any other PC game in history.(a)

Will it make any kind of an impression beyond the slight, nay, insubstantial portion of a yawn that it elicited from me last time it was shown?

I wasn't impressed with Ghost at this year's E3 at all.

WoW on the other hand, I haven't bought yet, but plan to soon!

I'm happy Blizzard is doing well once again.  I'm not buying WoW because MMORPGs will ruin my life if I keep playing them.  I'll be looking forward to their next release!

Good point smile  I'll be looking forward to their next single player game in the next 3 or 4 years.
