Anyone checking this out?  It's a co-op free to play game similar to the Mass Effect multiplayer.

I watched the GB QuickLook and while it seems interesting since it is a coop F2P game, I didn't think the actual gameplay looked all that enticing.  Maybe as you level up and get more unlocks and stuff it gets more interesting?

I think I'll go sign up for a closed beta key and give it a try this weekend or something.

anyone interested in going in on the founder's pack that gives guest keys?  looks like the $50 level gives 3 guest keys so something like $12.50 or so each.  Sadly only one person would get the ingame gear though.

Pretty fun, a bit of a more mobile Mass Effect multiplayer.  Some of the character animations are very nice, like the knee slide.  Also, this game has a ton of level up unlocks.  You have your player level, but then you have your Frame level, and also each weapon has it's own level and upgrade tree, nevermind all the weapons to unlock.

Had a straight 4-5 hour session of co-op madness with Jarrodhk.  This game has more depth and variety than I thought.  Some missions (infestation) had an "Aliens" vibe, very tense.  I'm very impressed   

Between Warframe and Star Conflict, I don't think I can afford any more free to play games

S'ok Forge, looks like they put up the new update with massive changes today. One change is not being able to update the game to play

Kato and I just had a very profitable run of games where we got a bunch of mods under the new system.

Noteworthy because it's actually pretty close to how the game plays (when things are going/working well).

Also, game is open beta now and the Steam version comes out next week.

Yep. Laughed quite loudly when I first saw it. Of course my current enjoyment of the game is hampered by whatever issue is causing the client to freeze every time I come back from a mission, losing connection to the host if I'm playing with others.

Hopefully that will get resolved soon.

Anybody playing this? I'm not great at shooters, so it is taking a bit of getting used to. The style of play is a bit more run and gun than Borderlands (at least how I play). It isn't Halo or TF2, but the pace feels a bit more amped.

Kato, Hark, Jarrod, and I were running pretty regular for a bit but that's been disrupted by Defiance along with real life stuff.

I think so but depends on their updates.  They've been pretty good so far with adding content.   Clan patch goes live Friday with a few new weapons and map layouts.   In the future they are adding throwable weapons that can go into the pistol slot, improving stealth, and at some point new frames and new enemy factions, they've also said they may add new powers for existing frames as the card system they have now supports that.  Also talk of prestiging which will reset you to zero but add more affinity slots to your weapons so even though you reset it, it will end up stronger when you remax it.

I got rank 1 earlier, and I'm not sure why,but it didn't make me test for it.

Meanwhile, Oscuros can't get past the tutorial. When he chooses a warframe it just starts at the beginning (same thing happens if he skips it).

So there are still some kinks to work out.

I have a hard time keeping up with my so and his friends, but it is a neat game. Currently playing as Mag. I'm thinking of using some platinum and grabbing Rhino when I hit rank 2.
