...seriously takes like 30-maybe 40 minutes to install...How every long it took it was too long. All 4 cds, no dvd release! And in europe it was DVD only I believe (I might be incredibly wrong on that). Great game though. I don`t want to sound like I bitch alot Tongue , but... Finally lots of games are starting to go dvd, and a big release like this NO DVD? I`m done venting, and the game is well worth it  . Later.

I reinstalled it last night. Took at least half hour, then half hour to patch. Absurd, even for a 4cd install 30minutes is insanely long. Oh well, maybe tomorrow I will reup the account and get started smile

Actually, the Collector's Edition came with both a CD and DVD edition, as well as a few other freebies.

*hugs his disturbingly cute Panda pet ingame while listening to the soundtrack CD* biggrin

As I recall, the DVD version also takes a long time to install.

Yeah, actually it does. I've had DVDs just rip through my system as far as installing goes, and the WoW DVD is not one of them.

But at least you can push install and just walk away from the PC for a while. biggrin

This is why I save the patch files.  226 megs thus far, not too bad, but a big time saver if I ever need to reinstall.
