Interesting. But is it something NCSoft will leave alone, or will they send the attorney army after them?

It often annoys me how companies go after fans who try to keep some old game alive even though they have no interest in ever revisiting the property themselves. And that's often the case even if the fans keep everything free.
I have found it interesting that SWTOR's Advanced Classes "branching" resembles TR's class trees a bit (though it diverges twice in TR instead of once as in SWTOR, and you start out totally generically in TR and then specify).
And I've spouted that the base assault/defense mechanic in TR (a bit like Rift's invasions, but not as massive or quite as chaotic, as I remember it) is something I would've liked to see in SWTOR or other MMOs for that matter.
