Nobody started a thread this week so I figured I would.  My preference is COD4.  Not sure what time I'll be home.  Figure by 8 if I don't get dinner; 10 if I do.  I'm hoping the usual crowd will be around.  I don't generally host, but there's no reason I can't.

I'll also be up for some Burnout Paradise for a couple hours.  The multiplayer is quite fun.

My nephew will be joining me for a bit tonight.  Simetro is his gamertag.  I have a second 360 now and he'll be playing from the next room.  Little bastard thinks he's the shit since his hit % is about 23%.  I keep reminding him that his k/d of .56 makes that irrelevant but he's just not listening

If we don't do private matches, I'm sure we'll have enough people to do 2-3 groups of 6. 

I really don't feel like doing ground war or domination/hq/sabotage tonight though.

After discovering that in fact Hark and I are kryptonite to eachother (meaning we play fine when the other one is not in the same room) we gelled and had some really good runs last night.

Only got to play a couple rounds with Jarrod (long time no play- R6 I think?) before calling it a night.

I'm pretty sure my n00b friend had fun- he did pretty well for a brand new guy- and the guys treated him fine.

Also! Ike had a best of career 12 kills in one match last night! Huzzah!

I'm concerned that this type of playlist will mean that there either won't be enough people for us to play against in 'normal' deathmatch (as in we'll be 6 vs a group of 4 and they never find 2 extras to fill it out) or that it will mean we'll always get slaughtered if we play together since they'll always put us up against clan groups.

I definitely could dig 100% hardcore deathmatch though.

Yeah, that happened to me a few times.  I'd get the "party has ended" message, assuming that everyone else in the group got the same message, and after waiting for a few minutes I'd check the status of my team and they would be playing in a match.  And during my last game my internet connection shat the bed. It was cuting in and out throughout the night (my wife was working on her laptop so we knew it was our internet connection and not Live).  After the internet cut out that last time I never tried to get back online.  It was still a lot of fun.  It's always a blast to play with Kato, Jarrod, Skystride, etc.  Good times.

Nice night of killing "random" people last night.  I need to find a way to increase my alcohol tolerance because unlike Pete, who gets better and better when he gets more intoxicated, I just get worse
