Let's get a concensus this week.

If you vote, post in the thread so we can see who is involved and interested.

Thanks!

I voted for Gears because I want to check out the new gametype and because I think I'm going to start a thread for R6 on Saturday.

I voted gears to make ATB happy. He's having a bad day today.

I voted Rainbow Six, but then I saw Ikes post.  Still, I'm going to keep my vote R6.

Where's the option for Guitar Hero II?   icon_wink

Actually, I voted for Gears of War for a few reasons.

1)  I skipped out on last Friday's session to satiate my Guitar Hero addiction and Snrub1 was pretty disappointed (ATB was probably just happy not to have had his Good Friday marred by the demon geologist  icon_wink).

2)  My friend Johnny Moxa spends a lot of time at our house and has his own Live account on my 360, and for some reason we've been completely unable to play online R6 with two people on the same 360 (it might just not be an option), so in order for him to be able to play along, Gears of War is our only option.  Plus, he prefers Gears to R6.

3)  If Ike is planning to organize a game on Saturday, I could get my Gears fix on Friday night and then play R6 on Saturday.

4)  I can't simply say "in" or "out" for any game in 500 words or less, so I needed to do more than just vote.

But, as usual, I won't be home until after 9pm PST.

I'm remiss to vote at this point as my participation is once again pending on the possibility of a date and the success thereof.  If I'm on I'll just accept an invite to whatever you guys are playing.

Gears gets my vote, I still haven't played the new maps. I will MAYBE show up to whatever we do tonight for an hour or so though, and I don't really mind whichever type, so go for it.

Can you possibly hedge any more?!  I agree with your "GF". You have commitment issues.

How'd the one last week go? Was she nutso or should we all be expecting invitations to the wedding in our mailboxes?

Good reminder to me from Calvin there -- not only have I not played the new maps yet, I realized I'm stupid and downloaded the new maps trailer as opposed to the actual new maps...

Not voting since if I think I can show up, I can't, and vice versa...  My wife might be cooking though, so I have a chance.

Alright girls, settle down.

Now, which new maps are we talking about?  Are we talking about the new new maps that you have to pay for, which I have not downloaded and refuse to pay for, or the new, a couple of months old, maps that were free?

I dont think the new maps you pay for are out yet, are they? I thought it was just the revised original maps set up to play annex, the annex gameplay, and the bugs/gameplay patch...so all we have to do is download and we can play on the old maps...right? Cause that sounds cool!

I think for the most part the new gameplay mode was a success.  Some very good seesaw battles.

I wish I could have played, but I ended up working all day (70 hours for the week FTW??) and was simply too tired.

I really have to be in the correct mindset to play a game like Gears, and after a miserable week of my own, complete with travel, a very long Friday, and not finally getting home until after 9:30 following obedience training, my mind just wasn't in it.  I tooled around with Guitar Hero II for a bit and then went to bed so that I wouldn't be sluggish at the gym this morning.  Having spent many a Friday night drinking heavily and chainsawing well into the wee hours of the morning, I actually feel so much better today having gone to bed earlier than usual.  Sorry I bailed, but I'm definitely appreciating last night's rest, especially following a good workout this morning.

Yeah I honestly just don't like GoW enough as a game to play it unless I am 100% into it.  That will be fairly rare.
