For those interested, and with a Fileplanet subscripiton, you can download the R.O.S.E beta. Now I never heard of this game before, and given what the acronym stands for I can see why, but I figured since I have the Fileplanet subscription I'd give it a shot.

Its closed beta so I suspect I can't speak much to how the game runs and give any opinions of what i think of it so I'll stick to the basics. The look to the game has a heavy Japanese fantasy RPG influence (think what True Fantasy was supposed to be like). Very cute graphics and you fight cute monsters. There's about 5 main classes to choose from with 2 sub-classes to choose from those. It looks like there are vechiles in the games (cars no less) as well as guns (which I know is a turn off to some in fantasy games).

That's about all I guess I can say about it I guess. Well maybe I can mention I played it for about 2 hours straight.

I really like the graphical style...wouldn't mind playing the beta..but I don't have a sub.  I'll live vicariously then.

This does look cute.  3 day weekend coming up.  I may even have time to try it.

I got it, made level 9 and it was an awful lot of repetitive hack and slash with nothing to do.  Perhaps the branching into character classes that happens at 10 would fix this, but right now after many hours of play, about all it has going for it is artistic style.
