More COH misery

Well, I hit 6th level, and purchased Hover, but it never appeared in my talent pool window. I also purchased Aim, at the same time, but I'm thinking that taking Aim automatically canceled out Hover, since I could only afford one or the other.

Assuming I screwed up, and I obviously did, when is the earliest that I can try and buy Hover again?

You get to choose one power. They aren't for sale and there's no issue of affording it or not. You get one and only one at a time. You clicked on one power, then the other, then hit continue, so you got the latter.
