BTW...does anyone else get a long delay while it "retrieves character list" on realms where you have no characters?

the servers have been acting wonky lately.  there were all kinds of problems logging in last night but things seemed to get a little better.  the problems might be back though, judging from your post.

Yeah, some of the servers are down (as you notice when it can't pull up any characters), including the one I play on. Bah.
