I have a group of around 5 friends who I tend to game with - however like it or not I always appear to be playing a different game to them. I prefer MP games to SP games but I don't tend to like just diving in with a random matchup - however i'd be quite happy to play for instance most gamers on this forum.

I use xfire - but the trouble with xfire is it is after the event - so for instance I go on say 10 at night and I want to play COH, Paraworld or Bf2 but you can't indicate that - almost these are the games I want to play smile

Does such a player matcher service exist - certainly from my perspective i'd love a way of playing others easily.

Any thoughts - does a service exist - how do others get around this problem - or are their friends more similarly matched in game type slywink I do like flitting between my games.

Maybe submit a recommendation to the Xfire people to include a feature that lets you do just that, indicate which games you're up for playing at the moment.

Certainly seems to make sense, just surprised something doesn'y already exist. Although the newer games are getting better at their buddy handling (COH being a good example). You tend to want that arrangement outside of the game game.

In the end I did find a solution to this, paid for a mumble server and have like minded people populate it - sorted smile
