I wasnt able to select it until I signed into Xbox live with my 360. They have a ton more available when you sign-in to Live.

Edit: It would be nice to have a definitive list going again of all Live tags.  Right now I have 74 people on my friends list (a good number are either CGers or Shackers), but I don't remember who half of them are....

Is there any easy way to completly wipe your friends list and start over?

I have no XB live yet, but likely will "relatively" soon - though I'm not sure how much more I can fit in with my Ratchet Deadlocked play! All I can say is that my name choice is rare, so if you see Myto, MYTO, or Mytocles - well, it's not likely it will be anyone but me!

Cool.. I got into the Live Beta in August of 2002 (IIRC) so it was easy enough to get "Purge" I still have the T-shirt but it's a little worse for wear.

I just found out that "myto" is already taken as a gamer tag on XBox Live... someone from France has it.  

I'll be trying MITO, all caps, which is the "nickname" for my muscle disorder, or Mytocles - and having all the folks with no classical education calling me "MY TOK KULLS" ...  :evil:

I'm thinking you might want to go with MYTO GT or something like what Graham did (initials for his location)... otherwise Mytocles isn't a far step from being called MY TESS TOK KULLs.  :twisted:

If you click on any of the links at the top they take you to the page for the gamertag. I believe ALL gamertags show up at this point; they just don't show anything if you've not selected to do so.

Click on the link below, and it will take you to my page. Replace purge with the desired tag (use a '+' symbol for spaces). if you get an error saying invalid link, you should be good to go.

OH, BOY, I sense another brain burnout coming (definitely be looking into Markus's group, how'd he put it? Less competitive, older, sucky, or what?!  I learned what little I know about online play from the PS2 (short stint with Res. Evil - thanks Ascendent! - plus, beta testing Ratchet Deadlocked, and playing it still with Clan members)

XBox Live, oh my!  Here we go again!  I'll take the Silver for a little bit, trying to figure things out, then I'll activate the free month of Gold (how cheap of them - it's always been 2 free months given away with a game purchase.)  Probby I'll go with "mytocles" - and keep repeating it's pronunciation every chance I get, lol!  We'll see, too many decisions right now - or soon, anyway!

Where did you hear this?  I went through absolute HELL getting mine changed.  In the end, they wouldn't do it and I cancelled my account (dumping 3 months of Live in the process) to get CG off the end of my name.

Heh, back, Purge!  Hobbes IS fair game for anyone - he has so many different type images and expressions.  Plus, I may go back and forth, but Mini Hobbes is really my favorite, so I may stick with him for a bit anyway. I wish you hadn't told me that Costco price, though, lol!

And to get back on track with the thread - I already caved and put in the free month of Live Gold.  As for the tag - Myto I knew was taken, I forgot I was going to try for Myto GT or MITO, so it's Mytocles after all.  I'll just have to brave the bad pronunciations, and um, Purge's scary "possible added syllable" pronunciation.  :shock:
