yeah, the beta was pretty bad - I couldnt see any progress from 5 years ago or whenever it was made the first time.
A shame, since the setting is pretty cool

The revamped game is simply too cool and full of newly found depth for our shallow minds to comprehend.  My feeling was the game needed serious revamping, not just a few coats of paint and a few short closed/open beta testing sessions as what seems to have taken place. I mean, it's like trying to fix a mold-ridden, termite infested house with paint and Elmer's Glue. It seemed like a lot more work was going to be necessary to bring it up to code, so to speak. |

I'm guessing that was me!! ME! Why aren't I famous enough to warrent the use of my name?! huh? HUH!? ;-)
Anyways, game was a mess, dated, and a lot less than it should have been, with the rather big team they said they had on it (16 guys).
There wasnt any practical difference between the current iteration, and the last time the game was being made.

I don't wish to encourage you, Razgon. I would like some idea of whether it's getting gradually improved after launch or if this really seems a case of a non-MMO dev getting in way over their heads. But, I dunno, as long as the client won't hose my computer, I'm willing to give the trial a shot and report on how things are shaping up... or not. What's Lockdown? |
