Hey guys: I am making an effort to get a gaming trend 2K8 Football League going here. Everyone who is interested, please post in this thread and include your gamertag so I can send you an invite. The league is called "GT League2". It is invitation only and the password is "gt". Its an 8 team league. Created players are allowed. Schedule is flexible which means you can play all your games at anytime however there is a time limit of 7 days for each week or that game gets simmed. Therefore, don't feel bad about joining and then not being able to play all your games. You can also check out the league at http://online.2ksports.com/ The webpage is awesome, wait to you see it!!! |

I dont think we will be starting very soon. The league webpages are still screwed up so I want to wait until they are fully functional. Also, we will need to get at least 8 total teams.
I am glad to see you got the invite tho. At least I know that works.
You have the time to practice.

I think in game you can go under "My Leagues" and there is a selection for invitiations. Hopefully it is there. Let me know if it does not show.
I don't know IkeV. It seems like you did not have a team associated with it. Maybe take at look at the league in game when you get a chance. I actually think its a bug and they are still sorting out all the issues.

Let's get this thing off the ground. flycatcher (from OO) just got the game and could join. Plus, I think I have a friend that might want to play. How close are we to getting this thing going? Edit: I just talked to my friend and he's in. His gamertag is IM13LETSMEET Sadly, I'm not making that up. I can vouch, however, that he is post puberty and 100% legal. I'll link him to this thread. |

Technically you don't have to send out invites. If you post the league name and password we can all just join from the online desk in the game. Another issue with leagues right now is that auto strafe is always on for league games. You cannot turn it off. Very annoying.

The one caveat is that most of my gaming time is mid-week. I'm mostly absent on the weekends because of my work schedule.

I sent invitations to everyone who asked. You need to check the invitiation page ingame to join the league.
We just need threemore teams to start the league.
I'm not sure how you pick your team. Maybe when we start the league we can pick the team we want to play with.
