Anyone able to run this on Vista x64?

While I haven't tried it myself (yet), I'd be surprised if it didn't work under Vista 64.

I would be as well, but for whatever reason I can't get to the actual game.  Granted, it's a beta and I may just be hitting the site at the wrong time, but I've encountered other browser-based games that have issues as well with x64 (the Battlefield Heroes beta and Fusion Fall)

I was running it under Vista 64 with no issues.  And it's not a beta any more, the game has launched.

I also had no problems with Fusion Fall on my Vista 64.

Finally unlocked the Wizard and Ninja class.  Like them both quite a bit, I just wish combat jobs didn't level up so darn slow.

Hehe, for me I have just about every profession and never even worry about leveling them up.  I just do different things depending upon my mood.  That is why I love this game...because it isn't the typical MMO.  I don't really care about leveling my characters ( never maxxed a character in any MMO - though altitis played into that too ).  I just like exploring, or crafting, or playing mini-games, even enjoy the tiny bit of strategy involved in combat instances.  But my character will level when he levels

It isn't so much that I am concerned about hitting some sort of max level, it is that I have a ton of quests I can't complete until I get my combat professions higher.

Ah, true.  That makes sense.  I end up doing a quest line, but then get distracted by shiny things   I'm sure the playground effect will wear off and I'll be focusing more on quests and goals too.

Never was able to get in yesterday.  Gonna play some more today.  Got my Ninja to lvl 5, Wizard to lvl 7, Warrior to lvl 6 and Brawler to lvl 6.  My medic is only level 3 so far.  Of the combat classes I think I like the wizard, ninja and warrior the most currently, although haven't given the archer much play time yet.

For those wondering about specs. My children both play this with nividia 5200 cards, .64mb and 128 mb cards. The PCs are 2ghz and memory is 512mb and 1024mb. Pretty amazing IMHO.
They love it, I haven't yet tried it but you guys are tempting me.

Just got an email that Free Realms just hit it's 1,000,000 registered player.  It does not mention how many of those are members, but seeing the amount of member only classes I see running around I would think it is a decent percentage, perhaps as much as 50% which isn't bad at all.

I haven't played in weeks but after seeing those 3 new classes im definately going back to be a archer.

EDIT: Went back. Made a new charater. Played the beginning part. Then i find I cant be an archer unless I pay for membership. Left again.

Most MMOs have you buy the software, then give you one free month.  So, at the cheapest, lets say software costs you $30.  You can play Free Realms with membership benefits for 6 months for that price.  Granted they also have microtransactions, though the only thing I've bought out of pocket has been a pet, and some boosters for their card game.

I've been enjoying myself with the game, but haven't been fanatical about leveling or anything.  Mostly I just go and see where my whim takes me.  My kids also play ( though at this time they both use only the free portions ) so I will play alongside them a lot too.

For me it is a nice break from hardcore MMOs ( which I also play - I have EGADD after all )

I can play this if it was free but I cant pay for something that is really a semi interesting child's game. If they make the archer free Ill play it. Otherwise I just cant raise enough interest in it. heck I dont even play Runes of Magic. Basically Im waiting on Old Republic. Thats my type MMO

Is there anyone around here that plays this at all?  I'm pretty sure I could make almost any item craftable if you need something.  I had got into this game when it first launched, getting the Miner and Blacksmith jobs up to level 20.

I never played it. My son (9) and daughter (12) played for a month or so. Then son moved back to wizard 101 and daughter seems to prefer small worlds and the facebook social apps like cafe world etc

I'd be interested in that. If microtransctions are done well then it's not a bad experience. I play lol and give myself a mmo monthly budget for the niceties like skins etc. I could unlock these in the scheme of things but I have no problem at all in jumping the gun with a bit of cash

some of these games make a crapload.  I play a f2p fps and it seems that a large number of the regular players spend a pretty substantial amount on the slot machines that can give you better guns.

i saw the video - is this just a collection of mini-games?  it looks like there is a pirate portion of some type - is it fun (to play as a pirate)?  Do you buy a pirate ship or make it (or what)?

Looks like this is a temporary offer, and it has been extended a few days to now expire on Monday the 16th (at noon or something).  So if you were looking to jump in for a very reasonable price then you may want to do so soon.
