Ok guys, no discussion in here beyond your thoughts on the particular classes you intend to play. Here is the info: Our name: The Monstrous Regiment unofficial CG guild! Our side: Alliance/PvE Our goal: To kick Horde ass always, to have fun all the time, and to always help each other out above all. Oh yeah, some kick ass raid content wouldn't hurt either! Our server: Unknown pending release. The only known details is that the server will be Central Time to accomodate and balance for the most people. Primary Class: 55% Gnome Warrior (Nobby or Zimmy)
Secondary Class: 45% Gnome Mage (Rincewinde or Calvin)
No firm decision yet. Trying to see what comes out of this thread to decide.

Remember, for Raid content you can't accomplish missions for everyone involved, but yes, they are a hell of a lot of fun. I'll absolutely add EVERYONE who is in this guild to my friends list. |

I'm in, and will play one class for now, I'm learning towards: (80%) Night Elf Druid - just fun to play, though seen lots of complaints (15%) Night Elf Huntress - fun and pets look cool, but it seems to be the most popular class according to statistics I've found. We did a poll (about..3/4 of hte people I expect to play voted), and while it was by no means a resounding victory, I do think its has a flair beyond the runner up (Sword of the Alliance). It is, obviously, simple plagiarism of the brilliant title of the Terry Pratchett book The Monstrous Regiment-which I liked because it symoblized the silliness of taking it so seriously and the diverse group of classes and races... But seriously-we want you to play with us-email me or start a new thread and let me know why you dont like it. No More Thread Derailment!! I'm Sorry!! |

Being one of the few humans who did not play at any point during the beta, I have no idea what class to be. A rogue sounds like fun though, and I don't see it represented yet.

I'm not going to be able to join your guild, at least not right away. Me and a few coworkers/friends are going to be joining the same server and doing the guild business together.
But I do have a suggestion for you guys on choosing a server pre-launch.
What we decided on was to join the first server alphabetically in our chosen time zone (central).
