So,is this game really worth putting onto the PS3,surely this will be a PS4 title now..FFXIV is apparently set for Mid 2013 release


hmm,makes me wonder about that E3 announcement they told us about at last nights PS4 announcement...but i guess that would piss people off,if it was just about a game already announced

I'm really looking forward to this reboot, despite the mess it was the first time around.  Everything I've been reading about it seems very positive.  I'm hoping for beta access, but nothing yet.

I think only PC has the beta at the moment,and signing up anyway does not mean i will get in,but here's hoping



If anybody is in the PC beta,can you tell me how large the download is?(if you are allowed)..i know it will be different for the PS3 version,but it may give me an idea

Can't go into any specifics (yet), but I will say that the new FF XIV is vastly improved over the original.  I'm having an absolute blast with it.

Same here.  Not looking forward to character wipes...hope I don't burn out on this before it's even released.

we were told that PlayStation 3 owners would have to wait until Phase 3 of 4 before they could test out the game. Now that Phase 2 has begun on PC, Square Enix has revealed that the PS3 beta is going to begin “later this summer.”

I was expecting a 3 week wait at the most,June 21st is officially the start of summer,so could be any time after that for the PS3 beta now

The final part of phase 2 starts this weekend.  Start of phase 3 is still expected for sometime in May.
