This looks really interesting and ambitious conceptually, you have a persistent character but the world changes over time and every few months starts over, procedurally generated and with different rulesets.

Looks like they made their goal!  Surprised no one here is interested in this type of game?

That does sound pretty cool.  They have some serious experience between them.  Shadowbanes PvP was, I think, really one of the best ever done.

Agreed!  Not just the PvP but the ecosystem (economy, crafting, etc) seemed to work really well.  It's the only game I played where we actually built cities with different "philosophies" and it completely worked.  We built one main city which was more "moral/hero"-type, and then later a second city which was kind of a commerce city which had less rules and regulations.  Then later on we played a rogue guild with no base city.  So cool.

Crowfall support is doing well, 5 days left and they are almost at their next target $1.3M which would add mounts and caravans.

It sounds interesting, but I think I'm just a bit burned out on Kickstarters these days, especially really long term ones like an MMO is bound to be.

It also felt like some of their design ideas sounded a little too high level and hand wavy and not enough specific, concrete details for my taste.

I'm glad they made their goal, but I'll probably wait to check back on the game when they have something more real to show.

Looks like they ended with over $1.7M and just shy of 17000 backers (too bad as that would have unlocked another stretch goal).  I've got high hopes for this one!
