No, this is saying that the game is in public beta now, and you can sign up via Fileplanet. I'm not in, and possibly couldn't say if I was, although if I get in and am allowed, expect a column.

So, if you sign up via fileplanet, boom, you are in? Unfortunately, even if that is true, you must be a subscriber. I refuse to subscribe to FP, when Fileshack treats me so right.

The link for 'go here' does not work in the article. Looks like you are concatenating the news article location and the fileplanet link.

No, you have to sign up via fileplanet in order to sign up for the beta. Read front page, basically Turbine's letting IGN handle all the server stuff for registration for beta. Fixing the other thing now.

They are doing a character wipe and uploading some major changes on Thursday. Hope it's for the better as I've not enjoyed the alpha much...granted I'm supposed to be testing but I'd like a little enjoyment.

*grin* You're also not supposed to say you're in the Alpha, unless they changed the NDA. Only reason I know that is because the devs have been hammering that message.

Now that's one heck of a restrictive NDA. Rule number one of the Dungeons and Dragons MMO: You don't talk about the Dungeons and Dragons MMO.

Now that's one heck of a restrictive NDA. Not really. Not being allowed to say you are in an alpha (or beta, or whatever) is standard NDA practice.

Well T.O. - from what I have heard from a few friends that are involved in the testing process, Blizz has little to be concerned about with this trainwreck.
Let's hope all this future testing can help this game though, cause I think alot of people would like to see it succeed.

I can't say anything either And to be honest even if I could say anything...there wouldn't be anything good to talk about.

And to be honest even if I could say anything...there wouldn't be anything good to talk about. Are you not saying anything about the same thing that I'm not saying anything about? If so we're definetly not seeing the same thing about the thing we're not saying anything about.

if I were in this beta, the only thing it would make me want to do is reload Neverwinter Nights. Which I happen to do the other day, for no apparent reason, and am enjoying it much more than I would have any pontetially NDA breaking admission about beta testing anything.
WoW, EQ2, CoH, Vanguard, EQ, Ultima Online, Asheron's Call, Earth and Beyond, and Meridian 59 can all rest easy. In theory.
