The Chris Taylor who worked  on the other Fallout games..not TA Chris Taylor who lost his touch with games.

http://www.interplay.com/about/article.php?id=24

And it seems Interplay has a website again..

http://www.interplay.com/

Its actually nice seeing the old Logo again. Makes me long for a new Star Trek game in the same style as 25th Anniversary and Judgment Rites.

It doesn't really say it's a fallout MMO in that news clip.  Is that actually confirmed, or just speculation?  If so, I'd be pretty psyched.  As it is Fallout 3 is the first game I've been eagerly anticipating in many years.

A Fallout MMO is the only Fallout IP that Interplay owns.

A Fallout MMO is the only Fallout IP that Interplay owns.

Interplay doesn't own any part of the Fallout IP anymore, including the MMO rights.  Instead, they are leasing those rights back from Bethesda.  Interplay has been talking about the Fallout MMO for a long time, but there is still no evidence they actually have funding for it.  Instead, there has been speculation that they have hired a few people, including Taylor, in order to meet terms of their deal with Bethesda so they can claim the MMO is being worked on.

Not sure this is a good thing. I'm skeptical towards any attempt to MMORPGify the Fallout universe, and I'm doubly skeptical because Interplay is behind it, which is now mostly just a shell of a company.
