Ok guys, please ONLY post the following-if you intend to play in the guild, obviously say I am in or something, and then list your Main and Alt (all tentative of course!! Everyone has a right to change whenever they want). Also, if you have a feel for what tradecrafts you are going to be playing, chime in!
I just want to start condensing threads, so no conversation in here if we can smile

This is what we know now:

1. I will likely be the guildmaster.
2. Console Golders that are charter members will be officers.
3. We are primarily going to be having fun with as little pressure as possible-our primary goal will be having fun, helping each other out, and enjoying each others company
4. We are voting on names here: http://www.consolegold.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=2578
5. We hope to be organized and ready to go about a week prior to release..so a week from now.

I am in.
Main: Gnome Mage (55% chance)
Alt: Gnome Warrior (45% chance)
The needs of the guild may very well make my decision for me.
Tradeskills: If mage, likely Tailoring/Enchanting
If warrior, likely Mining/Engineering.

I'm In

Main: Human Paladin
Tradeskills: Mining/Blacksmithing

Alt: Human Warlock
Tradeskills: Alchemy/Herbology

Also maybe we could talk about a council of leadership as opposed to leaving it all up to one person.  I remember what a pain in the ass it was running things solo.  Just something to consider.

Sign me up.

I'll likely be a Night Elf Hunter, probably a female (cuz I'll get tired of looking at man-butt for 100+ hours).
Tradeskills: I have no idea.  I haven't played around with these at all.  Open to suggestions.

I might have an alternate character but I have no idea what.

I'm in.  The only caveat of course is making sure everyone lands on the same server.  I won't be a part of the 'guild' but I'll help support you guys.  I'll work an alliance with the much larger guild that I'm a member of..they'll take care of us. smile

Oh yea...planning on playing Horde.  Undead Warlock and probably an Undead Rogue.

Probably in.  Definitely in if Blizzard listens to some of the legit gripes currently going around about some of their latest decisions.

I'll probably play the weakest, crappiest character in the game.  I'm strange like that.

I'm going to reserve saying anything till I've actually played the game (which will hopefully be tonight), but if I like it I'm in. Most likely a mage of some sort, probably gnome.

I will probably play a Dwarf Hunter.  Not 100% on that decision.

About 60% "IN"

(which doesn't do you much good now, does it?)   :?

When I do finally make a decision, I won't go back on it... hence the reservation.  So... assuming it goes up from 60% to 100%:

Class:  Priest  (without a doubt)

Race:  Dwarf  (most likely)

Don't know much about tradeskills... but I think I want to know how to make potions and such.  Maybe I can turn Ascendant into a frog!!!

I'm pretty sure I'm in, unless EQ 2 somehow changes my mind (doubtful right now).

Not sure if this belongs in this thread, but what type of server, RP or straight?  I tend to favor the RP servers based on the assumption (which may be incorrect) that more mature players congregate there.

In my MMORPG experience is that the RP servers are more crowded then normal servers.  Maybe that should factor in our server selection. Though I I'm for the RP server.

I don't care either way, if the majority want an RP server, tahts fine with me.

On another note, I think it is just one step above assinine that 9 days from release they can't be bothered to release the server names.

Come on, get your act together. Guilds and friends want to make some plans for where to play-there is no reason to do this at the last second.

I'm not big on the RP server idea.  Though I could stomach one, cast my vote for a regular old vanilla server.

I'll probably play a human warrior, too.  Running around collecting reagents to cast spells is just lame, IMO.  I don't mind running around collecting stuff for trade skills (that's actually an interesting diversion), but having to run around to get reagents to cast spells has always annoyed me.  At least in UO I could steal reagents from unsuspecting victims, which made them kind of fun...

Bleh.

Ok, two new polls going up today, so we can get some more final details going on vis a vis the guild.

We really do need a basic webpage, so I putting out an open APB regariding that.

Alright, I've 99% sure I'm going to be a gnome mage at this point. I tried most of the classes out, but I liked that one best. If I had to be something else, I'll go for priest.

Not sure that I'm going to really play until a week or more after release, since I don't want to contend with the incredible lag that may result (especially over Thanksgiving break, hoo boy).

Hey Guys!

I am definately in as a dwarf hunter or gnome rogue.  Not sure of what crafting skills I am gonna take.  I wonder when Blizzard is going to release the retail server names?

IN.

But do you have room in the guild for a casual player who may only play 5-8 hours a week?

Anyway, Exodor the dwarf Hunter will be a skinner/leatherworker.

Looks like it'll be a gnome and dwarf hunter lovefest. At least we can all start in the same area

I'm gonna hold off for a few days though, as to avoid the ridiculous rush in the first day or two.
