I will be returning from my trip Friday afternoon and am planning to play the heck out of this game.  Anyone else gonna be around this weekend? (hope the lag isn't bad...).

Le sigh.  Have some relatives coming in Saturday afternoon for a four day visit, so my 360 will be out of commission for the weekend.  I'll be in the game as much as possible through Friday, though.

Having a blast overall though I was a bit bitchy last night slywink

Two things bothering me are the way damage seems inconsistant and it's really irritating how so few people play together as a team.  3 games in a row we got steamrolled with half our team at the wrong bases and stuff on both attacking and defense.

On a side note, while watching one of the latest videos for Left4Dead I couldn't help but get frustrated and laugh at the same time when the dude playing for the video turns and looks at the other player who's getting raped by zombies and is flashing with a bunch of icons that are saying 'help this player and remove the zombies from them' then he just turns back to the other directionn and keeps shooting.  A giant red exclamation point with an arrow is on his display trying to get him to go help the player out and at one point he turns to follow the arrow again and once more you see the other player highlighted and giant white letter telling him to remove the zombies from the other player... he just turns back around yet again and keeps shooting and they both die.  What an f'n genius.  Just proves that no matter how foolproof you try to make a system to get people to work as a team, some people are too retarded to do it slywink

Battle Company? Anyway, my wife is going to be away this weekend, so I am going to be dangerously available for online play.  I need to make sure I take breaks to do yard work and cleaning like a good boy.

And ATB, phantom ATB is currently playing the dashboard.

Thanks for the review Ron, looks pretty good.

Am I the only one that thinks 7 hours or so is fine for a game?  especially when it's primarily a mp game?

Honestly I think that the formula would have gotten stale if it had gone on any longer than that.  For some games it's great, for others, it is better to be brief and leave on a high note.

That's all folks.

After about 5 or 6 overheating related RRoD's, the one this morning fried something for good.
It happened during a super kick ass defending round where I racked up a good 20 some kills with the silenced sniper rifle.

When i try to turn it on, I get sound, but no picture.
I thought it might have been the TV, but dvd and the ps2 works just fine, so yeah..
My only thought left is that it might be the wire itself, so I will try to pick up a new one today and see if that works.
Doubt that it's the case though..

Boosters?

People who use a exploit in the game (turn over a vehicle and keep repairing it) to get free points.

I got booted out of 5 games by C4 TK-ing 5 people at a time repairing those effin hummer's.
I love how the 3rd or 4th guy on top of the leaderboard has a whoppin 200 kills and 700 deaths and has a gain ratio of 450 points/minute.. .

Missing my 360..
Flying back home for a week this Thursday anyways.

i have been feeling the call of mp goodness (and hark's invites;) ) and i am considering picking this up.  what do you see the longevity of bc mp gaming?  if this thing has legs, and you all won't jump ship as soon as the next hotness arrives (what would that be, btw?) then i will grab this next chance i get.

I will be picking up NCAA 09 next week and that will most likely take my time for a week or two, plus I promised a co-worker he could borrow BF:BC for a week or two because I am trying to get him hooked.  Other than that I can see me jumping on when there are a couple people playing as it is just too much fun with a good squad and the teams are balanced.  The last game myself, Teggy, ATB, and JarrodHK played last night is what makes the game great.  The stand we made on the final crate(s) of Oasis to barely win the match is something I have never gotten from other shooters, especially the bradley rampage we went on or the game we watched the deaf/mute Jarrod frustrate the whole other team by himself in a tank.

I like the greater realism of other games but from now on I think destructible terrain is a must.  Make me a COD4, GRAW, R6, or even Halo with that feature and I would be in heaven.  Add in good, balanced vehicles and even better!

I tried this a few times and I'm really unimpressed and not having fun... seems like it takes a very large amount of damage to bring someone down.

Meh.

For the most part it seems that folks have already left this game behind. Whyzzat?

I can typically find Mik playing (teggy sold off his copy) and I haven't seen Hark or Jarrod consistently playing it.

Is this game donezors already?

I'm still interested in playing, but I seem to keep getting distracted with real life stuff in my evenings these days, or real life crossed with virtual life (those past times I've rejected your game invites have been when friends were over playing Rock Band).

I'm still playing, though I've been alternating with UT3 and CivRev.  Just made rank 14 last night. Been having fun with it..but I'd really like to see the ability to make private matches added in...

I will join in tonight, but I think i am done with this game.
Too many things need to get fixed that are just too frustrating.
Think I might trade this one in for credit towards merc's 2 or something.

Between new job and difficulty getting the 360 to myself when I am in the mood, I haven't played much of anything lately.

Not seeing anyone on playing also kills my interest.  Hark is off doing beta stuff on the pc.

Jarrod, I'd been wondering where you were...I think we keep missing each other online (I'm on usually a little after 8pm CST-ish).  Was hoping to hook up and play some UT3 and BF:BC with you sometime soon.
