Where do you guys find these stats at?
I'm trucking along into my 4th or 5th prestige by this point and would love to see exactly how much blindfiring my LMG's into explosions in hope to peg somebody off is hosing my stats heh.

I had a 44 kill match yesterday.  It was pretty awesome.  It came on Wetwork.  That's the neat thing about that map. You can have wonderously wonderful matches or dreadfully terrible matches.

Nope...I still love COD4.  However my time is divided between the two.  I'm really going to have to elevate my game to keep up with ya.

Woo!

Although I wonder if it has to do with the fact that people up this late might be too tired to focus on the game, since every second game I go I hear the ol' "This is gonna be the last one for me guys"

20% accuracy haha!

Hit 1.57 last night and I now have 3 less kills than Kato...and something like 200 less deaths...in something like 200 fewer matches too.

That said, even though I'm statistically better, I think I'd still rather have him on my team than me (if I were someone else). Dunno. He just seems to always come through in the clutch....

Or perhaps it's the soothing voice. Perhaps it's the kill stealing...Perhaps I'm just a sucker for a guy in uniform.  unibrow.

But there it is.

What's Hark at these days? 1.7?

I'm at a smooth .71 baby.  That's from a starting k / d ratio of .40, where I jumped online without playing the single player at all.

That red dot attachment thing REALLY helps my accuracy..

Wins/Losses is taking a beating though.
Even though I do great.. the rest of the team comes in at fantastic 2 to 14 ratios.

I would really really really really REALLY like to play with some capable peoples.

Just rented this on the PS3.  The gameplay is solid CoD style gameplay, but I don't agree with the best graphics comments.  That said, it's still a great game and I can see how it'd translate well into multiplayer.

I can't figure out what all the classes are and what the special abilities are, but the system seems pretty nice.  I was fooling around in split screen when I shot a defender, he dropped a grenade on death that killed me as well, very cool little class ability.

1.6 with Mikagami in relentless pursuit.  Statistically he's the man. He has more kills than me over time, more ranks, better accuracy....but somehow fewer points.  How's that work? Tongue  And he's done it in like 200 fewer matches...

Hark you still playing at all?

CALL OF DUTY 4: MODERN WARFARE

    DOWNLOADABLE MAPS ON THE WAY

Santa Monica, CA – February 4, 2008 – Fresh intel from Activision headquarters (Nasdaq: ATVI) reports that new global conflicts are planned in the form of downloadable multiplayer maps for the award-winning Call of Duty® 4: Modern Warfare™. In development for both Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft and PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system, the upcoming downloadable content will thrust gamers into a hot zone of added combat across a variety of intense multiplayer locales.

“We’ve demonstrated our commitment to delivering the best multiplayer experience in Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare and that continues with our plans for new downloadable content,” explains Infinity Ward’s Community Manager, Robert Bowling. “We’re excited about the new maps, and the added gameplay variety, and we can’t wait to wrap things up and get online with everyone.”

The worldwide best-selling game in units of 2007, according to The NPD Group, Chart Track and The GFK Group, and winner of more than 40 editors’ choice and game of the year honors, Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare is rated “M” (Mature) by the ESRB for Intense Violence, Strong Language, Blood and Gore. The new downloadable content is scheduled for release this spring, and will be available on Xbox LIVE® and PlayStation Network.

I thought that they were going to have a user-created map contest which would become available to play on.
Might have misread that IW message of the day though.

Always .01 behind ya ATB.

Lose = less points.
The game prefers to pair me off with the folks who just reached rank 12!

I am barely keeping afloat on wins/losses.
It's juggling between 1.01 to .99 on a nightly basis.

I still have a higher /played than anyone on my list even without playing in a couple weeks.

Probably not for long. You're relentless.  Also, I had one of those nights that makes you want to walk away from the game for a while last night. Rage inducing! I just couldn't seem to aim, was always half a heartbeat behind my target etc.

Also, as for wins, I didn't get positive in the win column for a very very very long time...so I don't know if that's it. Do you level up your weapons or just use one you're comfortable with?

I go through all of the weapon kills, then move on to the next.
Don't bother with headshots, or with some of the stupid hard challenges.

Yeah those nights happen to me as well, mostly because I get stuck against some decent opponents while leveling a weapon and perk kills that hinder my normal playing style.
But then you slap on the ol nade launcher and sonic boom on Wetworks and get a 4 person single shot kill that makes you all giddy inside.

Harkonis, could I add you to my friends list so I can see these epic stats ATB keeps talking about?

Careful! Harkonis is a fickle mistress. He'll boot you from his list for no reason, thus eliminating your motivation for creating a thread announcing that you're coming for him and his stats.

The only guys I have to gun for on my list now are a guy with 2.01 and Thin_J with 1.95.  What fun is that?  You too will suffer this pain.

I've been watching ATB's k/d ratio creep up on Hark's. As of last night ATB is at 1.60 and Hark is at 1.61.

At the rate you're climbing man you won't have any problem passing me. I just plain don't play enough due to a surprising sudden lack of interest by most of the people on my friends list. They loved it and I had people to game with every week.

Then burnout released and they're all nowhere to be found.

I worry that once I hit prestige rank 10, that I wont play this anymore.
Don't know what it is about the leveling in this game, but it never gets old to me.

Although Golden AK-47, Mini Uzi & Dragunov would take a good couple of weeks to obtain alone.

I need to find some late night gamers.

According to 360 voice, COD4 is now my most played game at 86 days.  With no signs of wavering, the days played count should rocket well past 100.thumbsup

I cannot wait for new maps as I'm to the point now where after a bit of playing if a map comes up and I'm not in the mood for it, I shut down rather than continue.  Of course that could just be overall fatigue...

Next time I fire up, I'm going to compile my stats again to see if they've improved since last time.

Well, got the Golden AK47, Accuracy took a big hit while using the MP44 frown

Anyone know if completing every challenge, both weapon and Operations, Humiliation, etc. gives you anything?  Think that might be my next goal.

Don't think it gives you anything, but you would get well ahead of everybody score wise by doing that on every prestige rank.
I leave nearly half of the challenges behind every time, and in the long run, my only xp will come from kills, assists and match bonuses, while you will still have challenges to do that reward 250 to 500 xp AS WELL as those kills, assists and match bonuses.

Hmmm..  think I'll be back in Vegas by the time that happens though hehe.
