WooHoo!
I got an invite from a particualr MMO that I've been dying to play!!
I can't say which one really, but I will say it involves things with wheels.
Oh, and I just picked up Guild Wars today, and am ass deep in CoH...an MMO buffet!

You lucky so and so. I just wonder when they're going to start sending out press betas. I have a feeling that myself and Dreamshadow may be getting held back because we put we were press in the app. Who knows, though. That's not the beta I'm really waiting for....  |

Hopefully they'll do an open as about the only way I'll actually purchae a MMO anymore is if I get to try it out first.

Did you have to sign a physical NDA, or not? Asking because they were saying they weren't doing press betas until the NDA was less restrictive.

I hate when people are vague, because it usually mesns i wonder what the hell I should be happy for them for. LOL Is it a good game or is it a bad game? Is it a game that has semi-decent beta operating hours, or can you only beta it for 3 hours 5 times a week? So many questions, so many answers nobody will ever see. |

He said he didn't have a PHYSICAL NDA. Most betas still have NDAs, although they're usually digital. The game in question started the early phases of beta by requiring the player to fax a physical copy of the NDA to the company.

I remember reading about this game in my last issue of CGW, forget the name though  . It's a road warrior MMOL game basically. One thing that did (apparently, but not 100% sure) that I really like is you still have a human avatar even though most everything takes place when you are driving around. Another vechile-based game, EVE, did not have anything like that and, imho, made the game feel incredibly stale. |

by the way, even in the NDA it mentions you can tell your friends you are in the beta, just not details on the game.
It's Auto Assault, and I'm in the beta. Currently it's a digital signature on the NDA.
