Before Burnout 3 came out, a bunch of folks were getting together online and racing PGR2 pretty regularly. Burnout, with it s crappy EA servers and fewer number of online players seems to have milked some fun out of those Wednesday night races.
So who wants to start up weekly racing again?
PGR2? RalliSport 2? Colin 2005?

I've held onto PGR2 for this sole reason and have yet to play it with any of you...
I think I am hurt somewhat by not having Longbeach or a lot of cars unlocked... but hey..

Do folks have the PGR downloads? I'd love to get more time in on those, but I know a few folks were holding off at the release of Burnout 3.
Either way, it'll be great to get this going again.

Just the other day I was thinking we all need to get back to our Wednesday PGR2 sessions.
It's the kind of fun that kicks your ass!

Newbie alert
I'm going to p/u PGR2 today at CC. What's it take to get my foot in the door for Wednesday nights?
BTW, I'm on PST. Sucked for the Madden league. How's it for Wednesday Night Nitro???

You'll need to get your gaming in before 9:00, Captain Caveman; The television is hereby reserved so that I can watch the debate. I know, I know, I'm a spoilsport, but look on the bright side - now you other guys won't have to wait 45 seconds after each race for CC for finish up! :p

Oh crap, I forgot about the presidential debate. Will you guys still be on at 10:30 pm eastern? I haven't lost a race in forever and so I'm starting to feel the need for the lack of speed!

CC, Simon, Driver, Jancelot: thanks for the games! Sorry for jumping in and out so much. I have a 7 week old and he thinks my gaming time is feeding/crying time . I need to practice some more, but that extreme race with Jancelot and Simon was fun, especially battling for second in the Ferrari (Jancelot) and GT40 (me). Simon: I'll look you up later. The boy will be asleep around 11:00 or so...

I played a bit with Caveman and Driver but then I lost my connection and couldn't get it back.
Our session may have been cut short, but we still found time for some comedy gold. After talking about the debate for a bit, we thought a race in D.C. was appropriate so we tackled the Capitol Thrill. Caveman overtook me earning kudos for flip-flopping and said, "I must display steady leadership."

Sorry we lost you, Rob. Jancelot, Simon and lildrgn all stopped by at one point or anther and we had some really tight races. After losing first place at the last second on two separate occasions, I would like to declare myself the official GG PGR2 choker. The worst was going around that last curve screaming, "I shall have the glory of first place!" only to see Driver nose past me at the last possible moment. The standings confirmed my shame: I choked and lost by .1 seconds. In any case, I'm up for racing again soon (and yes, Driver, I have Paris & Long Beach ). Anyone free this weekend?

That was fun as always. Gwon, I'm done for the night but we talked about playing some more this weekend. You have to get yourself a headset! Do you guys use the MS headset? Or a 3rd party one? How does it work? Does the MS headset plug into the controller? Do you have a ton of cables running around? I wish I had one for last night. I could hear your voices, but just barely, through the tv. With a headset, it plays into your ear, right? I saw a headset from Logitech, but the price ($79.99!) means I gotta sell some stuff on ebay first.. Also, I'm on the 2 month trial for Live. With the new baby, I might have to wait a bit after the trial expires. No sense in starting a 12 month plan and not be able to use it that much.

This is all you need and what I (and most everyone else I bet) use. If you want a 12 month subscription then you can grab a Live set that includes that, a headset, and Crimson Skies for $69.99.
