So I'm tired of going through everyone's gamertag scores, and in an effort to support my ADHD, I think I should shore up the list by adding some limitations. Since the list is intended for GT'ers, if those people no longer come to GT I think we could make it more useful by trimming those inactive people from the list.

I would likely send a PM to those people to let them know that they've been removed.

That sounds like a reasonable proposition.  Remove them if they haven't been active for some length of time, and if they return you can add them back on.

90 days seems like a decent length of time.  180 days would be extremely gracious.

i think 90 days is more than fair...60 days wouldn't even be too harsh in my opinion.  honestly, how many people that even care about the list would go for more than two months without playing their 360?

I think they days not active is the number of days they aren't active on the forums, if I'm not mistaken.  So he's saying people that no longer visit the forums for whatever reason won't be on the list whether they still play or not.

*nod*  I believe that is exactly what he is saying.

I say it's up to you Purge.  You keep the lists, so whatever you think is fair, is.  Especially if you're going to IM anyone you take off the list, and especially since it's easy to get back on, I say 30 days.  I'd rather keep it fairly current.

That also adds the reverse amount of administration... I mean, if I'm yanking people off for radio silence but we have military people who drop off for a month and a half at a time, I'm constantly adding and subtracting them.

I think I'll add a field to my list though for active / inactive, and then I'm not deleting and readding, just reactivating them. I don't care if the excel spreadsheet has 65535 entries (the result of multiplying 110 x88.7, not the supposed 100,000 slywink)

What it DOES mean, however is that my movers/shakers becomes a much more targetted list... and thats where the REAL work is.

I'll be deployed to the great beach with no water late December for about 6-9 months.  On the flipside, imagine how many great games will be out by the time I get back.

Well Kato, according to some people you should be able to conquer the whole country by yourself now!  I mean all those hours of video game training can't have been for nothing right?

In all seriousness, be safe.
