Want your tank to have laser eyes? Or your scrapper to throw shuriken? Or perhaps your blaster is dying for a force field? Check it out on the updates page

I must say, I find that a bit disappointing.
I was hoping the Epic powers would be some all new stuff.
Oh well, I guess all the brain power is being focused towards COV.

All new stuff in what sense? While some of the powers look to be recycled, others are clearly new.
Or do you perhaps mean an entirely different concept in some way?
It kind of surprises me that they chose to limit specific power groups to specific ATs. After all, as it seems like they are giving sets the things that would make them the closest thing to tank-mages anyway. I mean, if a tank wants tentacles or a scrapper wants laser eyes, or an illusion controller wants to throw energy torrent alongside their phantasms, why not? Of course, it may be tied in to some of the other powers we don't know...guess we'll have to wait and see.

New, as in, not seen before stuff.
Like, for example: Infravision (or something similar), being able to locate that last pesky critter or object in the mission. That's an original concept that is clearly sorely needed (after spending another 45 minutes today to find the last glowie in a mission with 15 books to locate).
What they're giving us is more of a limited class-merging after 40. Which is fine, but not what I was hoping for or expecting.
I'm still holding out hope for the Epic ATs.

E.g. I think a security expert could hack into a crey or 5th computer and find where the glowies are, or something of that nature.

Have all the Gone Gold SG members migrated over?
If I ever come back (and that's a really big if), I'll look you guys up, but I'll hang on to my "League of Gone Gold" member status. Sentimental reasons. Sometimes I just really miss the game.
Which reminds me, I really oughta update my yahoo photo album with the my last set of pictures.

A number of people did come over and continue to play. Some came over but haven't been heard from much. Others have never made an appearance and I have never been able to find them in-game.

The entire leadership's subscriptions all ran out in August... I believe Dark Light and Electro-lass are still playing. Who knows? Maybe the Remarkable Resilient Super Hiro may make a quick return to get some goodies!

Yes, Ironwulf is frequently online as Polar Myst. We've grouped together on a number of occasions.

Gravity Well is pondering coming out of retirement... I too get pangs every once in a while when I see the little icon in my quick launch bar. Seeing the Incredibles the other day also inspired me a bit. Not sure I want to get started again, though, with WOW just around the corner.

Hey folks! Doctor Chemo is still around (just not played very often), but my new alts are Shadowfyst (still in the GGSG) and Powercinder, a fire/energy blaster. If you put those toons on your friends list, send me a tell when you see me! I would love to hook up again with all of you I haven't seen in a while. My play time is primarily in the mornings during the week while the GF is teaching at school and before I have to go to work at 3pm... See you in Paragon City!

Rats - not one of the tanker powers are aimed at the "normal" type guy who just happens to be really strong - if you want epic powers as a tank, you have to be an elemental. It would have been nice to have body mastery or munitions as an option for a tank.
(yeah, I know you don't have to take an epic pool, but it would have been nice if there was a choice that included each of the origins for all ATs)
