We couldn't get past the first screen where you select the team and hit start. It was REALLY annoying as we tried like a billion times. Hopefully the DMZ thing will fix it.

pingwrx and I tried to play earlier today and had the exact same problem. What does it mean to do the DMZ thing? FYI, my 360 is on a wireless network and cannot be directly plugged in.

What it means is that your pretty much ignoring the firewalll for your router for the connection that you designate. You have to log into your router and there will be a setting called DMZ and you put the ip address of your Xbox360. What router do you have? I might be able to walk you through it. It only takes a minute if you know what you are looking for.

Thanks for your help. I have a linksys WRT54G. I know how to log into my router, but how do you find the ip address of your 360?

Perfect that's the router I have. 

When you first login to the router click on the far right status button on the top.

Next click on the local network button right under Wireless on the top.

Next click on the button called DHCP Clients Table this lists all the active connections to the router. I don't know how many devices you have connected but for mine the xbox connection doesn't say anything under the client host name section. If still aren't sure which connection is the xbox you can go to start run type cmd in the open box and then hit okay. It will open a command prompt type ipconfig and hit enter. This will give you the ipaddress for you computer. This is the one you DON'T want to put in the dmz. That should narrow it down for you. There might be a way to find the ipaddress through the 360 but I'm too lazy to figure that out.

Once you get the ipaddress click on the Applications & Gaming button and then the DMZ button. Click the radio button for enable and put the ip address in the box and then hit save settings. You should be good. Word to the wise don't ever put your PC connection in the DMZ as it opens your computer up to attacks from the outside. Putting it for the xbox should be fine though. .

Okay I got unlazy and found how you can get the information from the xbox. My Xbox\System settings\Network settings and then configure network. It lists your ipaddress there.

To both Octavious and Beefhamma, I'm sorry I advanced the week before you could get your game in. I didn't think to check the forums before I advanced the week. If I had, I would have held off so you could get your game in. Hopefully you guys can jump back in a couple weeks...just in time for the playoffs. 

In the future, if anyone is in a similar situation, try and also send me a message on xbox live. My computer at home is a piece of crap, so my ability to check the forums on weekends is severely limited. There's a far greater chance of me seeing a message on the xbox than there is a post on the forums. I'll also make sure to be more on top of things during the week to try and prevent this from happening again.

I ended up playing against ForsakenPenguin and the Denver Broncos this week. It was a game completely dominated by the Pittsburgh defense. The Broncos gained just 78 yards of total offense, with 11 rushing and 67 passing.  The Broncos also tossed two picks, with the last one ending the game. The final score was 17-6 Pittsburgh. I could have probably come away with more points, because the final interception gave me the ball in the Bronco red zone with about 2:00 minutes left on the clock. But ForsakenPenguin was already defeated, and said he wouldn't call any timeouts if I took a couple knees to end the game.

Cool maybe we can work something out where I ship his sorry butt back once Eli gets out of his coma. The problem we ran into is that I never go on Xbox Live unless I'm playing a game and check here a lot. You seem to do the opposite.
