Microsoft installed a necessary update this morning, and now my ATI control panel won't start. My 1680x1050 monitor won't run in its native res and everything is working very slowly. Any one else experience this? Anyone know how to fix it?

Sounds like the drivers got borked somehow. Just based on this, I recommend a simple reinstall of your latest drivers.

And note to self - don't patch WinXP anytime soon. biggrin
