Steam Remote Install

Maybe I am late to the party (using Steam for years) - but today I bought a game from work and was given the option to remote install (I was logged on at home). Slick, no waiting when I get home. How long has this feature been used? What else don't I know about

There's a thread in the pc/console gaming section.  Off the top of my head there's Workshop, Inventory, Trading, Movie Making, Wallet, Remote (smartphone) App, Chat, Community Vote (coming soon), Friend Lists, Groups, Community Videos and Screenshots, and there's some sort of summer sale going on.
