Title says it all.   I know some people have had serious issues with SP2 . Currently, I have SP1 installed with no issues, so do I need to upgrade to SP2 if I am not experiencing any issues?

I would think that down the line they are going to require you to have SP2 to install newer patches.  This was done with Windows 2000 in the past.

I'm in the process of upgrading about 80+ machines where I work.  I've got well over half of them done and have had only a few issues and these were mostly attributed to trying to do a remote unattended install.

I would say just back up your data and do it when you have some time.  You should do a spyware scan before you install and shutdown any unnecessary programs while the update runs.

i've been running SP2 since the initial release date and haven't had a single problem so far.  WinXP is still stable, all my games continue work, so i can't complain at all.  i say go for it Cool
