I have a Microsoft Live camera hooked up to my PC with the software that comes with it.
I need to get it working with Skype. How can I do this?

Do I need to remove the Microsoft software first or can it run alongside of Skype?
Is there a particular source to download Skype from?
Anything else I should know ?

Virgin territory here so any help appreciated.

i've been using this for eight years now, and it has become very simple to set-up. just get the skype installer from skype.com - every option it presents to you is pretty much a no-brainer. it will also detect your camera, and you can calibrate from the Tools -> Options -> Video Settings menu.

I like using Skype too.  The only downside is that I keep getting requests to chat with assorted shady strangers.

Was it [email protected]? Cuz, you know, it's hard to keep him on leash 24/7.
