I am also in the market for 2 21-22 inch widescreen lcd monitors. Priority here is a definitely price, with the caveat that the monitor is not a complete piece of junk. I will be doing a little gaming on it, but it doesn't have to be tuned for that purpose by any means.
Anyone have a favorite or know a good deal?

Might I suggest Dell? Monitor deals. Sometimes their 24" monitors (low end, but work great) LED ones go for ~170 US. Right now they have a dual 21.5" pair that are on for 289. That's $145 per monitor! |

Generally the PC/gaming hardware questions (including recommendation threads) have gone in there.
That isn't to say they couldn't be in off-topic (I may be staff, but I'm not a moderator) but it does help keep that kind of stuff in one place.

One of them definitely, the other will get some PC gaming. But no specialized use like graphics or movies or anything. I wound up pulling the trigger on the Viewsonics. Regarding CeeKay's post, I did just get a 60-inch LED for my new house and it is glorious. Especially since the largest tv I have ever owned is 32 inches, widescreen or otherwise. |
