Is it possible to use an external HDD in a Win98SE/Win2KPro dual-boot enviroment?
My primary OS (currently installed) is 98SE, and I want to put 2K on the external drive and do a dual-boot. The 2 OS's will be run independent of each other - one OS won't need anything from the other's drive -  so I'm not concerned that 98 won't be able to see/use the external drive after 2K is installed (the FAT32/NTFS thing).
If this will work, it'll save me a load of time/grief/hassles/etc. over doing either an upgrade or a backup/format/fresh install/reinstall everything else smile
Thanks in advance!!!

Edit for addt'l info: After doing a little more research, I checked my mobo's manual to see if booting from a USB HD was possible (seemed like it's important, in a couple of articles I read - but they were about Linux) and it has a BIOS setting for "First/Second/Third Boot Device" and among the many settings was "USB-HDD". Hopefully this bodes well for my plans...
