Please help: Ulead Video Studio 8 program

I'm using this program to edit my film project and its a nightmare, all I'm trying to do is trim from the clips but it seems impossible. I can select which part of the clim to trim but I cant actually trim it. Any help?

Well, my best suggestion is to try out the Windows Movie Maker that comes with Windows XP -- it's a better product, and you probably already have it.

If you can, get ahold of a copy of Vegas Video.
