I have MSN.com set as my home page. For some reason, every time it comes up, it looks like this: I've tried clearing all my cache folders and cookies, and set it to load new each time, but I keep getting this strange format. Any ideas?

I believe you need to lower the security settings in IE to get rid of the ugliness or at least allow ActiveX stuff to run (which in and of itself is risky).

Oddly enough (or perhaps not) I had problems loading up my MSN homepage with IE. When I switched to Opera I no longer had any problems.

I tried all the security settings, and nothing changed. Any other ideas?
P.S. It's been fine up until about a week ago. Then it started showing up like this on one of my 4 work computers and my home system. Strange.

Are you sure you do not have somekind of adblocker? This can cause the changes that are on that screenshot.

The only blocker I have installed is Google taskbar. Tried disabling that, but it didn't change anything.

I blame the fact that you're still using IE. That alone can cause all kinds of problems. On a more helpful point though, I'm not quite sure what's causing it.

I actually installed Firefox yesterday and have been using it a bit. I still have to use IE for a few things (a couple of our vendors use automatic invoice generators that are only compatable with IE), but I've started using Firefox for most of my regular browsing.

Gratch, there's an IE-View extension out there for Firefox that, if I'm not mistaken, uses the IE renderer for selected Firefox pages. I've never used it, as I'm not locked into any browser at work, but you might want to give it a shot and see if it can help.
