Motherboard Temps Question!
«

so i know we have a cpu temp chart stickied but im paranoid and need reassurance (or a reason to shut down my pc for a week). at the end of a long night of the witcher 2 i had a warning from my probe that
my mobo
(not CPU) hit 60 degrees C - should i be worried? bear in mind this was "under load" and it was the end of the night - i shut down and my temp promptly dropped 5 or 6 degrees C and is probably much less now... so gurus - do i have a problem, or is this to be expected after an *ahem* long session of pc gaming?

60c is a little warmer than I prefer, but my p45 board does get that hot sometimes. I suspect it has bad contact on whichever heatsink it is (it has a long heatpipe going from the southbridge to the northbridge to the power circuitry)
