I'm getting a new system with an athlon64 3500 (upgrade from athlon1600) What do you all recommend as the best/fastest motherboard to go with it?

The nForce 4 will be coming out within the month, or so I hear. That'll probably be your best bet, unless you already have a video card you want to use (the nForce 4 is a PCI Express-based mobo).

Whatever mb I get with the 3500+, it will be paired with an nvida 6800gt.

Well is that 6800GT a PCI Express card or an AGP card? Cuz if it's a PCI Express card, then the nForce 4 is your best bet.
