Mac Gurus: Vmware Fusion vs. Parallels?

Any recommendations? I was always under the impression Parallels was better, but recently someone mentioned they liked Fusion better. Both have just released Lion compatible versions and Fusion is apparently at $50 so I'm tempted to try it out.

I can only say I have and use Parallels. It's a pretty neat product. You can play older games through it, but newer games can be unplayable. Other types of programs it handles very well. You can also choose to use it in a mode where programs open up like they are part of the Mac OS. Personally I prefer to use gestures to swipe between desktops but I can see others liking that feature.

i actually would recommend having more than 4GB of RAM for Parallels, as launching a Win7 virtual environment twice or more in a row tends to seriously bog down everything.
