Saw this on sale at CompUSA for 19.99 after MIR.  I saw numerous reviews on the internet where buyers complained of calibration problems after a few weeks and that there is a downloadable calibration fix on the Logitch support website that none of the reviewers mention.

Does anyone have this joystick and can give an opnion?

I have it.  Unfortunately, I've never gotten around to taking it out of the box, so I can't tell you if it stays calibrated.  Sounds like a good reason for me to reinstall Freespace 2.

i've had the force feedback variant of this stick and yes, i have had problems with calibration.  even though it hasn't had a ton of use compared to my old sticks, the centerpoint is a little weak.  ie, it's harder to keep it centered.  very wobbly compared to the older thrustmaster sticks.  also, when calibrating the corners, there is a marked difference between the extremes.  i'll post up some screenshots when i get home.

my advice, great stick for ergonomics and button access, but it's long term reliability is spotty.  for $20 though, it's a good deal.

also, where is this calibration fix you mentioned?  i haven't heard of it until now.
