LCD monitor question

I have a 27 in LG LCD monitor.

Had it about three months.

It has what appears to be a stuck pixel on the upper right of the screen.

I have also noticed that there is a very thin light coloured line that runs vertically from the top of the screen to the bottom passing through this pixel.

Anyone know what this could be?  Is it connected to the stuck pixel?  Something to worry about?

Monitor is still under warranty so I can take it back although it is a major annoyance waiting till its fixed.

I had similar line running horizontally on a new monitor last year.  It would only appear periodically, but then it started becoming more and more frequent and then finally the screen started having serious issues and it was obvious the screen was bad. 

If it's under warranty, I'd return it before it craps out after the warranty is up.
